In Jack Spade Mens Fall/Winter 2013 Review

City Armor: Jack Spade Fall/Winter 2013 Collection Preview

The informed urban man needs to stay stylishly connected.  For this reason alone, I've found that organization is key.  Planning is essential.  This is all due to the fact that being ill-prepared is not on my schedule.  I pack my bag, choose my outfit and select my coat for my day in the morning and return home in the evening hopefully not regretting any choices.  It's just a great help when certain designers make my urban hustle that much easier by creating and offering insightfully driven design that leaves me with piece of mind to combat the conundrums during my day that drive me out of my mind.

Too much reliance on clothes?  Too wild a hope in accessories?  Not for me.  I love fashion, particularly when it's done well enough to blur the line of necessity and want.  There was plenty I needed and a lot that I wanted from the Jack Spade Fall/Winter 2013 Preview.  I mean, how could you not?

For late summer/Fall 2013 Jack Spade has wonderful updates to the bags that has carried mens lives around for so long.  Their classic tote gets some reversible treatment and incorporates the brand's hot orange color for next season.  That color also goes well with the usage of M90 Swedish camouflage on day briefcases and dopp kits.  There's also an awesome new backpack, also done up in the cool camo, that is the perfect size to not look like you're backpacking through Europe.  There were also some really well-executed weekenders and duffles and the brand's foray into exquisite luxury leather pieces with carry alls in a saddle leather and duffels in a waterproof suede.

There's also some great clothing and accessories being offered up Jack Spade for Fall as well.  Offered up will be great button-downs in suave plaids, the expanding their selvedge denim launched in 2012 and great pieces like blazers and barracuda-style jackets in nicely textured double-faced menswear suitings.  You can also expect taped seaming on thin weatherproof bonded outerwear and other wearable collaborations on outerwear with brands like Barbour.  Also new for Fall will be colorful and tasteful small accessories like tie bars, money clips and cufflinks.  This will accompany the already special and appropriately fun iPhone and iPad cases.

So men, fear not!  Jack Spade has got your covered to stylishly get from point A to point B this Fall.  However, to get there stylishly, you have to get the pieces.  Fall 2013 will start to hit Jack Spade retail outlets in late July.
